Igor Bobeldijk makes interactive work. His work consists of machine prototypes and a virtual layer, reflecting on our science fiction present. The infrastructure behind the internet is a theme, but also questions such as: How do humans regain agency in this techno-world? A bit of absurdism seems to be one of the weapons at our disposal. By repurposing obsolete technology, trash, and materials from previous installations Igor sees himself already inhabiting the scrapheap at the end of time.

During his residency at NP3 | MOBi he will until the end of October built a series of robots that will mimic the robots that Amazon uses in their warehouses. Instead of moving around shelves and packages Igor’s robots will partake in a ritual.

Alan Ahued Naime invites visitors to experience one of his soundinstallations, which he developed in the spring of 2024 during a LABitat residency at NP3 | MOBi.
With a background in music composition and multimedia art, Alan’s work stands in the space where sound/music and other disciplines meet. His practice as a sound artist is a constant search for ways of expanding both perception and expressive possibilities of music.

Ra’fat Ali is a multimedia artist who’s artistic practice centres on the intricacies of hybrid identity. Within the LABitat programme Ra’fat explores different approaches of his ongoing research project. Especially for Suikerbrij, Ra’fat Ali presents an artwork he recently developed as part of his long-term research project at
NP3 | RE:Search:Gallery, with the aim to create an interactive film installation.

Othernode (Hannes Arvid Andersson) offers eclectic electronic(eclectronic) musings ranging from tribal electronica & dub, as well as tech hop & voodoo pop, to noise and atmospheric soundscapes, which he generally performs live on a modular synthesizer system.

Anahita Malakouti is a Persian Opera singer, composer and breathwork teacher. In recent years she has been working on more contemporary and fusion in Opera with Jazz, tribal, electronic and Persian music. Her performances take you through a journey of sounds and perceptions.
